Airport improvements

The project is supporting work by Airports Fiji to improve the airports of Labasa and Savusavu. The improvements include: 

• Pavement maintenance and improvements 
• Seawall Remediation
• Stormwater Drainage maintenance
• A Feasibility Study for a new Vanua Levu Airport, potential upgrade of Matei Airport and development of a masterplan for the Labasa Airport
• Savusavu Terminal improvements
• Remote tower enhancements 
• Labasa Carpark and site services
• Labasa Fire Truck and Fire Station Upgrade
• Labasa Baggage screening equipment
• Savusavu Airport Fire Station
• Savusavu Replacement Fence
