The Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation, through the Fiji Tourism Development Program in Vanua Levu (Na Vualiku Project), invites organisations with relevant experience and expertise to express their interest in serving as the Business Development Services (BDS) Provider for MSMEs, Women-Led Enterprises, and Community-Based Tourism (CBT) operators.
The World Bank-financed initiative supports enterprise development and capacity building to ensure tourism growth in Vanua Levu and Taveuni is sustainable, inclusive, and delivers tangible benefits to local communities.

📢 Call for Expressions of Interest

The Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation, through the Fiji Tourism Development Program in Vanua Levu (Na Vualiku Project), is inviting organisations with relevant experience and expertise to express their interest in supporting the development of two key plans that will strengthen the resilience of Fiji’s tourism sector:

1️ National Tourism Emergency Management and Preparedness Response Plan
2️
 Northern Division Tourism Emergency Management and Preparedness Sub-Plan

These plans will enhance preparedness, protect livelihoods, and promote coordinated action across the tourism industry during emergencies.

The Fiji Tourism Development Program in Vanua Levu (Na Vualiku Project) is a transformative, government-led initiative designed to unlock the sustainable tourism potential of Vanua Levu, Fiji’s second-largest island. It is funded through a loan from the World Bank and implemented by the Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation (MTCA).

The MTCA invites eligible consulting firms to express their interest in delivering services to conduct a detailed design study for a new Savusavu landfill and existing Savusavu dump rehabilitation (Environmental and Social Impact Assessment, options study, and detailed feasibility study).

The Fiji Tourism Development Program in Vanua Levu (Na Vualiku Project) is a transformative government-led initiative designed to unlock the sustainable tourism potential of Vanua Levu, Fiji’s second-largest island. Financed through a loan from the World Bank, the Project is led by the Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation.  One of the core components of the Project is to improve critical infrastructure and services in key tourism growth areas. This includes the potential construction of a new solid waste management facility in Vanua Levu and the rehabilitation of the existing dumpsites. To support this effort, we are seeking technical assistance from an independent and highly experienced professional with demonstrated expertise in the solid waste management sector.
